GQM One Focus Theme: Identity

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." —Ephesians 2:10

Many of us waste time worrying about what other people think of us. We want to be valued, loved, respected, and admired. But why base our identity and sense of self-worth on the opinions of other flawed beings when God's view of us is the only one that truly matters? The most important question we can ask concerning our identity is this: Who does God say I am? The Bible contains the only reliable answers about who we are in Christ and what God thinks of us who have been born again.
